Thanks to Keegan Bradley I had a nice 60-1 win last week at the WGC Bridgestone after Furyk double bogeyed the last hole. Keegan played well at this event last year but it’s tricky to predict the outside bets and winner of the USPGA 2012 as the Ocean Course has no recent major history so you have to go with the form players.
The course is also the longest in history and with wet conditions forecast the shorter to average drivers such as Luke Donald, Zach Johnson and Molinari may struggle despite recent good form.
Tiger Woods best odds are at 10-1 with BetVictor and William Hill and he should be in contention if he can hit his driver. Tiger hasn’t been playing great but he’s now up to number 2 in the world after many top 10 finishes. Just imagine if he holes some putts ?
Rory McIlroy is 20-1 with Paddy Power and Ladbrokes but if the weather is bad Rory normally struggles.
The consistent Jason Dufner at 28-1 with BetVictor and Paddy Power is worth looking at.
Padraig Harrington is 50-1 at Ladbrokes and previously won the World Cup with Ireland at this course many years ago.
Outside bets for the USPGA include Bubba Watson 33-1 with Paddy Power, Louis Oosthuizen 33-1 with BetVictor, Graeme McDowell 45-1 with William Hill.
The biggest outside bet could be Carbrera Bello at 250-1 with William Hill if you fancy an each way bet
